Their firsthand experience with cancer when JoAnn’s mother passed away from breast cancer and Dan’s mother passing from Alzheimer’s shaped how they believe they can help change the course of these diseases. Lurie’s Children’s Hospital is a passion for giving children a chance to be cared for and cured at a place unlike any other.
